No it's not you fucking idiot. You do know that a lot of rappers sit down with their producers and actually direct the music, right? That's why all Drake songs sound similar, that's why tracks Kanye hasn't produced still sound Kanye-ish, and that's why even the Recovery beats have a little bit of "Eminem" to them.

No, a lot of rappers do not sit down and "direct" the music, moron. What kind of dream world are you living in? The vast majority, especially these days, will either take beats that have already been made by producers and lay their vocals over them, or spend studio time with a producer who will go through their beat catalogue and perhaps come up with a particular sound. Kind of like Em and Dre used to do back in the day. Since when are most rappers musical directors? LOL you think all Drake songs sound the same because Drake "directs" the producers as they're making their beats. And you have the gall to call me an "idiot", you utter half-wit. Kanye on the other hand is an exception.
Eminem does take a heavy hand in the mixing process, but that is entirely different process to producing the beat. The beats that he adds something to he gets credit for as an additional producer. Which he should. On Recovery he is credited as such on two songs: "Not Afraid" and "WTP". Why are you going on some whim that most rappers "direct" their beats just to protect your idol? I wasn't even slighting Em by saying the comparison was not justified, but as a bonehead Neanderthal you are unable to control yourself and have to jump the gun like an overly-keen virgin who's just seen his first titty.
