That's not what he was saying. He said go in with a blank slate in mind. Don't look for small things, good or bad. And don't expect the album to be good or bad. Just listen.

Dude, I know what he was saying. My point was, most of the people backing up his post were being like, 'think of all the positive things'. Which contradicts his point, in the same way of someone anticipating faults.
Expectations can be separate from eventual opinions, as long as you don't have a motive.
I've been through all the albums with Em, therefore i'm honest when I hear his music, I know where it ranks amongst his other stuff (nostalgia bias aside). So I know I can sit here, make predictions, then as soon as that shits in my speakers, i'll just switch it all off, and listen to the evidence in hand.

No one's being harsh or hating.
We all think different lines are dope or meh. Saying which one, in no way constitutes as hating.
We're all on an Eminem site. We all like Rap God. And we're all excited for MMLP2.
So quit with the 'haters be hating' shit, cos its as cringey as the 'eminem be doing a recovery 2' shit.
Now, group hug?
Crazee wrote:I hate how some people cringe at every single bit of wordplay Em uses, no other rapper is held to this standard. Especially when Eminem was never a punchline rapper. He was witty and said funny/cool things but he was mostly slick with how outlandish he was. He was never a Jadakiss/Fabolous punchline artist.
People are so critical of everything he does, and not other legends.

Generelly awesome song with a few weak parts and a few godly parts, that one being one of the weak ones.
