Fine Line - best on the cd.
I don't like SHADYXV song. I don't know why everybody crazy about it.
I feel like any Eminem songs on compilation could easily fit on mmlp2

He gave us Relapse, Recovery, H:TS, MMLP2 and now Shady XV. He's clearly different, he's not going to sound like whatever you think he should sound like.
You can't deal with that? Just move on, find another artist that you'd slit your wrist for. You think you're giving constructive opinions but it's basically been the same since he came back, it's fuckin' pathetic. But hey, you'll never be successful enough to be happy with yourselves so I get why you stay on forums 24/7 just to say the same thing over and over again. Clap for 'em, ladies and gentlemen.

However, I fell it might be a lot better if he didn't try to make it so complicated all the time. By trying too hard and making his sound complex I think he hurts it.
I've listened to Relapse, Recovery, HTS, MMLP2 a million times. I love these albums. It's just not as good, not as fresh, not as funny, not as powerful, not as sad or happy, catchy and entertaining as it used to be, that's all. So I listen to every new project with the hope of catching some of that "magic trapped in a bottle", and sometimes it happens.
Vegas brought back some of that magic for me, today. Some of that crazyness too.
But come on, even the Lose Yourself demo is better than every Shady XV song...
As I already said, I'm stating the obvious. I'm not complaining, I'm really glad to be able to hear new Eminem regularly. But his flow is not as good, and his songs, overall, are not as good as they used to be.

It's not as black and white as this. I love everything about Relapse. It's my favorite Eminem album, although I know it isn't his absolute best. He was dope between that and Recovery. And then he was garbage for Recovery up until Hell: The Sequel and he was okay. Started getting a choppy flow. MMLP2 had some decent songs but failed with some beats, hooks, inconsistencies. This album just has some pretty bad flows on it, although I think it's decent on a Hell: The Sequel level. The thing is that each album he has has highlights and lowlights. When you invested a lot of care and love towards an artist for like ten years, you still look forward to their new material, especially when you don't know what to expect at all with the sound... Such is the case with Eminem. His new stuff has things I praise and things I think are horrible. I'll never stop caring about his material, but I will be fair when judging his stuff. That's just where a lot of people fall.
Revolutionary wrote:And that is absolutely fine. I'm talking about the people that have been repeating themselves, particularly the SL members. They're saying the same shit on every thread as if they're trying to change other people's opinions.
For me, I just embraced the change and I personally believe MMLP2 has songs that are way better than some shit on TES/SSLP.
Just because I think that's true doesn't mean i'm a stan trying to convince myself that shit is dope. I hated Recovery and I don't listen to H:TS but Relapse and MMLP2 are amazing projects to me and Relapse is the best produced album if we're being honest.
I'm just saying if you have a complaint, there's no need to say that shit on almost every page.

Also The Cxvpher?
Thanks for the help.

I like it,I just do almost every song.I didn't like half of the songs on MMLP2 the first time and now i listen to it all the time. Give it time folks. Or don't,whatever you want, but don't shit over and over again saying the some stuff, one time is enough and without unnecessary bashing on Em and the members of the forum.
