they are two COMPLETELY different rappers/producers. first of all, em will never reach dre's level of production, even tho hes become a pretty damn good one. Dre is a producer first, rapper 2nd. Em is obviously a rapper first, producer 2nd. In terms of rapping, yeah em has definetly surpassed dre, but there really shouldnt even be a comparison.

Eminem actually produces unique beats.

Pretty much every beat Dre has been acclaimed for, in acuality all he's done is take a sample and add drums to them. While Eminem has used sampling, like any good producer, Dre uses it so much more prominently and he often adds nothing to it except drums. Coupled with the fact he doesn't write his own rhymes, Dre is one of the laziest out there.

If u had listened to "Crack a bottle" u cud hear that Eminem was actually teaching Dre how to rap cuz he knew Dre wud mess his song up and maybe bcuz Dre's voice is too lame and straight.

So without the help from dre he wouldnt be where he is as a producer
