It's a sneak preview of what's coming for Relapse 2.
Eminem confirmed with an interview with a German TV Show that the particular track "Careful What You Wish For" was originally slated to replace "Crack a Bottle" on his Relapse album, but the record label thought otherwise. After all, "Crack a Bottle" was No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 and was one of Eminem's highest selling singles. So it was included in the album.
Eminem later comfirmed with various publications throughout Europe that "Careful What You Wish For" was "really similar to what fans can expect on my follow-up record. The whole feel of that track reminds me of the recording sessions I had with Dre in Miami towards the last 4 months we were there."
In a later interview with Tim Westwood, Eminem did confirm that Relapse 2 would "definitely come out later this year. I mean, the whole feel of my next record kinda reminds of the MMLP times, ya know what I'm saying? I mean, with the tracks on there and all, I really think that this is what tons of people have been waiting for. But we'll just have to wait and see, don't we?"
When asked about the release date of Relapse 2, Eminem said, "It's kinda complicated now with Dre's and 50's records comin' out this year, but it's gonna work out. *laughs* This year is gonna be crazy for the industry. *laughs again*"
