I would say lyrical skill/flow, but that is just me.

If a rapper couldn't make dope albums, then he isn't dope. Discography showcases a rappers ability to drop constant heat, where as dope rappers with no good albums ain't shit imo.

True. I would judge looking at both. It's hard though, since a good album must have good production, and it's not always the rapper's fault that the production is faulty. It could be the label's fault?

Yeah, but you did not specify what we should look at when talking about a discography. I assumed you were talking about a huge amount of albums.

I meant an artist's albums. Any of them are okay to be reviewed for the purpose.

Just let everyone have their own opinion. You admitted it all comes down to preference, so if LilWayne4Life puts Weezy on his top 5, just let it go. You seem too eager to prove that you are educated in the "old school" hip hop or whatever it's called. Honestly, "old school" means early 1980's, but whatever.

Funny, I could swear that is YOU. I don't have to prove nothing to anyone. I'd say my hip hop knowledge is "medium". There are more knowledgable hip hop heads on this forum than me. I have older brothers who know A LOT more than me, I just kind of followed my older bro and been listening to hip-hop subconsiously since I was 7.

LilWayne4Life
(see username) doesn't just put Weezy in his top 5 you know Weezy is his #1 of all time. If a user called "Eminem4Life" made the same comments about Eminem as this guy then you would be calling him a Stan so don't come with that shit.

One Mic wrote:People really need to let go of this Lil Wayne hate.

I don't really like him either, but does it really matter if he is featured on a Weezy album? Em's verse on Forever was hot and that featured Wayne too.

As long as the song is dope, thats all that matters :y:

Lol, you don't have to get so defensive. I was just pointing it out, since all your recent topics are about "Who is the best rapper" or "What is the best hip-hop album" or something like that, and in each one you seem to enjoy renouncing rappers like Lil Wayne and putting forth "classics".

I swear, this topic has been created and re-created more than ten times since I've been on this forum and definitely more than once from you yourself. :b:

And why would I prove anything to anyone? I'm not the one making topics for that sole purpose. See, would you make a topic asking who is the best rapper of all time, if your favorite rapper was Soulja Boy? Of course not, unless you were ignorant to the game.

Just saying. I don't want no e-beef; that would be lame. :n:

Decent enough rappers, but no way anywhere near #1

Rappers that aren't even in contention for the #1 spot

Soulja Boy
Will Smith

ROFL #2

Sorry, but Dre is nowhere near even being considered as GOAT considering the fact that he can't even drop a decent verse, let alone a LOGICAL verse without ghostwriters.

And don't even compare Soulja Boy to Will Smith, because it clearly looks live you haven't even listened to Will. He may not be considered as a contendant for GOAT spot, but still he's got sick verses, decent flow and what's even more important, he makes good music without putting on a fake-ass gangsta image.

So next time you try to say something, make sure you know what you're talking about. :b:

Dr. Dre doesn't even write his own lyrics. Story ended.

1. I'm not asking who is the best rapper of all time in this thread. I am asking is there such a thing?

2. Find me a thread where someone asks if there IS such a thing as the "best rapper of all time" and not a top 10 list or whatever, because this aint. I doubt there is one exactly like this.

3. I posted this reponse in the other thread....

Again, not sure if serious?

I posted in this thread to tell people to lay off dissing Wayne unprovoked when it isn't neccessary. No one was claming his elite status comparing him to Biggie, so there was no need to disrespect him in this context.

I posted "dis-respecting" Wayne in the thread in hip hop domain to combat elite stannerism from "LilWayne4Life" clearly taking the piss by including his name with the likes of Biggie, Rakim, Big Pun and 2Pac.

You are obsessed with me, allow it bruv it aint cool.

Then I must have mis-read what your question was, given that you listed possible "contenders" for the 'Best Rapper Ever" spot. If you're asking if there is such thing, don't list who could take it. That's contradictory and provokes dissent.

Who the fuck cares if LilWayne4Life rides Weezy's dick? Does that anger you or something? Smfh, just let the thing slide. I don't see you bombarding on users that ride Slim's dick? :n:

You think I'm obsessed with you?

Who said that "da.relapse.lp" seemed a little fishy and searched up my previous posts?

And I can easily find someone who asks whether there is such thing as the "best rapper ever". I don't feel like wasting my time over such a minimal point though. :b:

Calm down; I'm not dissing you or anything. I was just curious.
