Just because it's from the 8 Mile soundtrack doesn't necessarily mean he is. The "character writing" and him writing as himself intertwine. Lose Yourself's second verse for example deals with fame.

Pretty sure Jimmy Smith Jr. didn't have writer's block, he just choked on stage. Eminem however, had a serious problem with writer's block that plagued him throughout the years he was a drug-addict.

I agree. Rabbit Run is totally blown out of proportion when people give it credit....It really is kinda shitty..

Lose Yourself was far better. It had everything. Lyrics, motivation, Multis, story telling. Everything. Best Hip Hop song ever imo..

Tell me 1 better song than Lose Yourself. Hell, even one song that's on the same pedestal.

You know why it's been overplayed? Because it's Eminem's best song and it came at the peak of his career. Listen to the lyrics. So many complicated lines. Not to mention the best hook Eminem has ever put together and a song that actually appealed to everyone and not just the "Slim Shady" fans. Just a great rap song where he spits it. Not the best hip-hop song ever but probably Eminem's without a question. If someone puts Stan, The Way I Am, or Till I Collapse in front of it, that's fine.. But I just can't see Eminem ever topping it.

Although the track contained a considerable amount of multi-syllabic rhyming, it was far from being complicated. The lyrics are rather easy to understand; requires minimal thinking involved. :y:

I don't want him to emulate anything he's done in the past. I want a new breed of Eminem songs, unlike anything we've ever heard.

a song like Run Rabbit Run should be a good opening for album, instead of a normal skit :y:

Actually, I'd like to see another Biterphobia type track.
