Relaxing exercises or activities?

Postby DrRapid » Dec 8th, '09, 13:39

You know the feeling when you have a lot of pressure upon you, when there's always something on your back not leaving you alone and what you want to do is feel free? Well I feel like that a lot of time and I do sports but what other sort of exercises or activities are good for relaxation? Something which is just easy and that I can do at home. Something calm and relaxing.

i usually swim. You have all this time in the water to think out your problems and you can just let them go. I's like being alone to think, and letting all your frustrations out on the water.
But when I am at home I usually stretch like to toe-touches, stretching out my back and core. It really relieves stress cause I focus on one stretch at a time.
I act like shit don't phase me
inside it drives me crazy
my insecurities could eat me alive!

Yeah man I love swimmin. But I moved and don't have a pool anywhere, plus it's winter. But I usually go at the punching bag for a bit or just run with the headphones on full blast.

Yeah I don't exactly have a swimming pool around me, running I do when I do my basketball trainings. What I really meant was some exercises which are maybe less active, not yoga, but which can do the job.
A punching bag seems pretty good actually. Thx though.

Yeah that can be really relaxing sometimes; just sit, watch other people and think.

Martial Arts. Beating the shit out of someone (or a target) while listening to music does wonders to getting all your frustrations out :y: Maybe not relaxing but it works!

Yeah man just put on some music and go to work on a punching bag for awhile. Then take a nice hot bath, maybe include your girl. Thats what I do on a bad day.

Swimming is my favorite

Probably swimming, hitting the bag, or just running

I just put on some nice exercise music and run on an elypse (8 Mile Soundtrack is good)

Either puching Bags, Or turn off all media except your music player and close your eyes on your bed and listen. More ambient and certain music can get you lost in your mind
