What exactly is this syrup shit?

It's cough syrup like Robitussin or DayQuil or many others. Weezy also mixes it, or at least he used to mix it with codeine which definitely increases its potency lol. If you've ever tried to drink the entire bottle of cough syrup in one sitting, you'll get pretty high. Even half the bottle will make the ground spin a lil bit.

it's called "Purple drank". a recreational drug
the main ingredients is cough syrup, codeine and promethazine.
He isn't on that anymore since the beginning of '09. he just smokes weed now
that's why when you hear him spit now it's more raw and proper b/c his brain and process things better
